Sunday Church Activity

A warm & inviting welcome to all children and parents at Como Lake United!

Pre-school -10 to 11 am in Room 203 (upstairs - Where children ages 2 to 4 listen to Bible stories, learn simple crafts, and enjoy snacks. Parents are welcome to stay with your child(ren) or return to the sanctuary.

Sunday School -10:15 to 11 in Room 120. Join us in the Sanctuary for the pre-Sunday School time. Following the Children's moment - a time during worship where the children are invited to "The Blanket" at the front of the Sanctuary where the Sunday School lesson will be introduced - the children will leave for Sunday School with their teachers. The focus this year will be biblical stories and themes through story, drama, art and science.

Children’s Choir

Angelic voices, ages 6 to 8, meet Tuesday from 6:00 to 6:45 pm. This program consists of basic music lessons and singing fun songs. Participants will get a CD with all the songs for the year. We are also planning to do some music theory this year. Professional acting and dancing instruction will also be provided throughout the year.

The Youth Choir for those 9 to 14 years old meets Tuesdays from 5:00 to 5:45 pm.. This program will be different. The first part of the class will consist of music theory and conducting. After that we are going to do some more challenging singing in two part harmony. You will learn how easy it is to sing parts once you know the technique.

The children's choir programs are open to boys and girls from our church as well as from the broader community.
