Reflecting on Fatherhood

Reflecting on Fatherhood

Blessings to you this day, a day perhaps of gratitude, or a day for prayer, for healing, for grace….

I invite you to take a moment to reflect today on fatherhood. This can include a scope of meaning that speaks to your life. Perhaps you are a father, a  father-figure, an uncle, a mentor, a teacher…

Or you may want to look at the reflections from the standpoint of a child in relation to a father, a father-figure, a mentor, etc.. Let it work for you!

 1. What do you most appreciate about being a father? Another way to think about it is “what are 1 or 2 of the best things for you about being a father?” (Let’s assume you love your children/mentees, etc. and go to the next thing that is the best thing for you about being a father.)

2. What are 1 or 2 of the hardest things about being a father?

3. What are 1 or 2 of the most meaningful ways your children have shown their appreciation of you as their father?
