The Trustees are individuals who hold all of the property of the congregation for the use and benefit of the congregation as part of the United Church of Canada. The activities of the Trustees are restricted and governed by public statute, the United Church's Trusts of Model Deed, and the lawful directions of the Church Board and of the other courts of the United Church having jurisdiction.

Board Purpose

to hold up the general purpose of God’s church (keep the main thing the main thing)
to prayerfully discern, with participation from the congregation, Como Lake’s particular expression of Gods’ church, by naming our purpose, values, vision and goals to nurture a productive and caring congregation, where people are committed to the purpose and to one another, and who are flourishing in their life of faith

Board responsibilities

to provide leadership and vision in the care, oversight and development of the spiritual life and interests of the congregation to ensure the management of temporal and financial matters

The Board meets on the third Tuesday of the month at 7:00 pm. Board meetings are open to all members of the congregation.
