Sundays 10:00am to 11:00am - Sunday School - The theme for this fall is is "Heroes of the Old Testament". Come and explore stories of important people of faith such as Hannah, Samuel, King David, Solomon, etc. Each Sunday will begin with worship in the Sanctuary, followed by learning activities in Room #120.

On the first Sunday of the month, children, youth and leaders will return to the Sanctuary to participate in Communion with the congregation and then return to Room #120 for snacks and closing.

First and Third Monday 2:00 to 4:00pm - Prayer Shawl Group meets. All you need to be able to do is knit and purl or crochet. There will be a time of Prayer and reflection. All are welcome. Contact Cheryl 604-219-5186.

Tuesdays 9:00am - Come join us for a short informal worship service.

Tuesdays 9:00am to 1:00pm - Como Lake Thrift Shop open. Enter off the lane.

Tuesdays 11:30am to 12:45pm - The Soup and Sandwich Cafe - come and join us for lunch at a nominal cost.

Wednesdays 10:00am - Bible Study "invitation to the Psalms. This is a ten week study involving Daily readings and reflection followed once a week with a group session using video and discussion.

Wednesdays 5:00 to 5:45pm - "Youth Choir" - A Choir program for those age 9 and up. The first part of the class consists of music theory and conducting. After that we are going to do some more challenging singing in two parts harmony. You will learn how easy it is to sing parts once you know the technique.

Wednesdays from 6:00 to 6:30pm - Singing classes for angelic voices, ages 5 to 8. This program consists of basic music lessons and singing fun songs.

Wednesdays during Lent from 6:15 to 6:45pm - Lenten Evenings of Prayer Please join us for this 30 minute gathering of Prayer, song and scripture in candlelight to center in God together during this important time of personal and communal reflection leading up to Easter.

Thursdays 6:30 to 8:30pm - Como Lake Thrift Shop open. Enter off the lane.

Thursdays at 7:00pm - Our sanctuary choir practices. If you enjoy music and would like to share your enthusiasm and develop your talent please come join us. We would love to have you!

Saturdays 9:00am to Noon - Como Lake Thrift Shop open. Enter off the lane.

Sunday September 5 - First day of Sunday School.

Sunday September 12 - Last day to make donations to Pakistan flood relief through our church and have them matched by the Federal Government.

Tuesday September 14 11:30am to 12:45pm - Soup and Sandwich Cafe welcomes everyone back. Come and enjoy the food and fellowship.

Sunday September 19 - Corn Roast at Dave and Marilyn McCutcheon's after worship. Directions will be available at the reception counter.

Monday September 20 7:00 to 8:30pm - Path Group - a small group focused on supporting one another in our Disciple’s Path. Walking A Disciple’s Path — A month long guide for regular spiritual practice. Pick up your copy today at Reception. Note that Day 1 begins on a Monday.

Monday September 27 - UCW Fun Event - Purse auction and Pot Luck - We are looking for good used pursesfor this event. Donations of purses can be left at the Thrift Shop attention Pat.

Wednesday October 6 7:00pm - L.I.F.E Group Movie Discussion - this small group is focused on exploring our faith and theology through movies. Please view “Eat, Pray, Love” before the discussion.All are welcome.

Saturday October 16 5:30 to 8:00pm(ish) - Family Fun Night - Chili supper and games for all ages. Everyone welcome.
